As our firm is comprised of many different divisions, such as apartment property management, commercial property management, development, and internal accounting and finance, an fellow would most likely be exposed to a variety of different job responsibilities throughout a summer fellowship. Our intention would be for the fellow to (1) gain exposure to different aspects of working within a real estate company which focuses on property management, and (2) contribute to needed projects ongoing within the company, such as marketing research, competitive analysis, financial analysis, and even working at an apartment site to learn the fundamentals of property management. The fellow would see the differences between working within the confines of a corporate office as well as in the field of operations. Our focus would be to provide an environment in which the fellow is able to contribute to the company by helping on important projects while also learning about the basics of our industry. The fellow would possibly be required to write a short report describing what he or she has learned at the end of the summer.
