About Q Source

Qsource is a non-profit, healthcare quality improvement and healthcare information technology consultancy. For more than 40 years, we’ve been working to improve healthcare quality in Tennessee across all healthcare settings, provider communities and topics/interventions.

Qsource seeks to provide a professional environment, with team participation in the day-to-day process and production of Marketing/Communications (MarCom) services, by which students and graduates can gain meaningful work experience as they prepare for their intended careers. Interns will participate in a variety of tasks in support of internal and external marketing and communications functions for organizational programs.

Desired Skills for Fellow

-Mastery of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
-Proficiency in Adobe CC / Creative Suite applications is very highly desired
-Excellent project and time management skills
-Results-oriented, self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Interest and capability of contributing to project teams at both a) marketing and communications planning, and b) tactical and production level
-Fundamental knowledge of marketing principles, disciplines and media
-Commitment to standards, processes and procedures, and continual quality improvement

Fellow Responsibilities

Tasks may include implementation of strategic marketing and communications plans, concepting, copywriting, research, developing timelines and calendars, process planning, public relations, and facilitating the creation, production and distribution of collateral materials, reports, trade show programs, on-line tools and resources, and other multi-media marketing elements and events.

Typical Assignments and Responsibilities May Include:
-Ongoing communication and participation within MarCom team
-Manage multiple tasks, projects and deliverables within short timeframes
-Contribute to critical program and project deadlines
-Exhibit a dedication to, and, interest in understanding the program objectives and developing marketing and communications tools and materials to help meet objectives
-Develop measures to track successes of marketing programs implemented
-Track project requests and provide input / feedback
-Work within department’s traffic/production system, using required documentation and procedures for project workflow
-Occasional copywriting and proofreading
-Research related to programs and projects
-Inventory and file management of MarCom-related images, messages or materials
